Occupational Therapist – FULL TIME Integrating Nature and Therapy on a 50-Acre Horse Ranch

Nestled in the peaceful surrounds of a 50-acre horse ranch, we offer a therapeutic experience where nature becomes part of the healing process. Our custom-built barn features private consultation rooms and retreat-like amenities, inviting Occupational Therapists to break free from traditional clinical environments.
The Role We're seeking a skilled and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. You'll play a key role in delivering Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), providing tailored therapy recommendations, and preparing clinically justified reports that support funding decisions across NDIS Core, Capacity Building, and Capital support categories.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Capacity Assessments using standardised tools and clinical observation Prepare high-quality FCA reports aligned with NDIS and AHPRA standards Offer evidence-based therapy sessions in a dynamic outdoor setting Collaborate with participants, support coordinators, and allied professionals Make clear, goal-aligned recommendations for ongoing funding and support
Location: Devon Meadows - Horse ranch facility with nature-integrated therapy space
Requirements
AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist (essential) Minimum 1 year working within the NDIS framework (preferred) Strong clinical reasoning and report writing skills Ability to work autonomously and manage a flexible caseload Professional integrity and commitment to participant-centred care Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check required Current driver's licence and own reliable transport essential for ranch location Current professional indemnity and public liability insurance (or ability to obtain before commencement) Current First Aid and CPR certification required
