What You'll Do

• Conduct safety risk assessments and daily safety observation tours.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) analysis, reporting, and prevention efforts.Inspect machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Manage contractor safety activities and support compliance through ISNetworld.
• Develop and deliver safety orientations for contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Partner with production leadership and safety committees to identify and resolve workplace hazards.
• Track corrective actions and help drive continuous safety improvement.
• Promote a proactive safety culture where every team member goes home safely every day

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Experience performing safety-related functions in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting contractor safety programs and safety committees.
• Knowledge of SIF (Serious Injury & Fatality) processes, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ISNetworld.
ASP, CSP, CHST, OSHT, or other safety certifications.
Automotive or heavy manufacturing experience.
