Job Description
Perform machine operation, setup, adjustment, rework, and manufacturing activities across multiple production equipment and modification processes. Work from technical drawings, process sheets, work instructions, and electrical or mechanical diagrams to manufacture, modify, repair, and improve products while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards. Operate and support different manufacturing processes based on operational requirements and certified skill levels.
Your Responsibilities:
- Operate manufacturing equipment and processes such as Flexy Bars, Tube Fabrication, Production Rework, Punching, Stamping, Painting, Bending, and other assigned operations.
- Perform complex machine setups, adjustments, changeovers, and operational tasks.
- Maintain flexibility to work across multiple machines, equipment, and modification processes according to operational and our needs.
- Participate in training, cross-training, qualification, and certification activities for new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Operate equipment and processes for which training and certification have been completed.
- Support modification projects, rework activities, and special manufacturing requirements as assigned.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, process instructions, blueprints, and other technical documentation.
- Identify basic equipment malfunctions and initiate appropriate actions according to established procedures.
- Report issues related to equipment, tools, materials, or processes to the Group Leader or Supervisor.
- Support continuous improvement, productivity, quality, and waste reduction projects.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Accomplish activities to achieve Safety, Hygiene, Quality, and Environmental goals.
- Use personal protective equipment correctly and follow all company safety procedures.
- Complete required company and job-specific training programs.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Education: High School Diploma or Technical Degree completed.
- Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Follow work instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
- Train, and become certified in multiple machines and manufacturing processes.
- Flexibility to support different operational areas based on our needs.
- Basic computer and manufacturing documentation skills.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Technical background in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, machine setup, or production processes.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Quality Systems.
- Experience interpreting electrical, mechanical, or pneumatic diagrams.
