Requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of irrigation systems at designated commercial properties.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues using a systematic process of elimination.
- Repair or replace irrigation components, including pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, timers, and sensors.
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, including irrigation wiring, solenoids, control wiring, transformers, and troubleshooting electrical issues related to irrigation systems.
- Recommend irrigation system upgrades that align with clients' needs and property objectives.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and materials to maximize job efficiency.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep company vehicles clean, safe, and professionally maintained.
- Complete accurate daily documentation, including property reports, estimates, work orders, and timecards.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding service recommendations and completed work.
- Work independently while effectively managing multiple service calls and priorities.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of commercial irrigation maintenance and installation experience required.
- Working knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and irrigation system diagrams.
- Experience servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial irrigation systems preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers, smart controllers, and sensors preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
- Valid Georgia driver's license required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be able to stand, bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
