Job Summary
Highway Maintenance Technicians perform roadway maintenance and repair activities to support the safety and functionality of transportation infrastructure. Duties include debris and litter removal, sign and guardrail repair, concrete repair, and general highway maintenance tasks. The role requires operating hand and power tools, maintaining safety standards, and working outdoors under varying environmental conditions while complying with applicable regulations and company procedures.

High School Diploma/GED.
Experience using shovels, weed trimming equipment, brooms, and other small hand tools.
Ability to operate hand and power tools.
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Ability to use smartphones and related applications.
Ability to adapt to changing work schedules.
Ability to work safely in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous manual labor.
Must maintain required safety equipment and follow safety procedures.
Must pass criminal background checks, driving record reviews, and drug testing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Roadway or guardrail maintenance experience.
MOT (Traffic Control) Certification.
Experience operating Wheel Loaders, Skid Steers, Forklifts, Asphalt Rollers, or similar equipment.
CDL License.
Clean driving record.
