J O B D E S C R IP T IO N
- Design, plan, and oversee controlled detonations within surface mining applications.
- Analyze geological data to create blast patterns, ensure regulatory compliance, minimize environmental impact (vibration/noise), and optimize rock fragmentation
- Supervise loading and firing of explosives, ensuring proper drilling and loading techniques are followed
- Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and environmental regulations
- Analyze post blast results to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Maintain detailed records of blast designs, audits, and performance metrics
