Suvi is seeking a Database Administrator to support the sustainment and maintenance of the Air Force Security Assistance Training Tuition Tool (T2). To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for any technical and/or functional breakdowns and system outages for Tuition Tool.
Maintain all historical and current system documentation in Microsoft Azure for SAMRS and T2 database tables.
Assist in creating technical documentation, including use-case scenarios, system change requests, requirements analysis, system guides, and policies.
Responsible for user account administration additions, deletions, and inactive accounts
Support environment setup and changes within authorized Cloud One T2 boundaries.
Support any technical taskers in support of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) such as database queries/audits, table reviews, or providing environmental evidence as needed.
Assist the development team with technical tasks to support system maintenance and enhancements.
Work with the QA engineer to create stored procedures and workflows for testing purposes.
Assist with workflows that affect database table functionality and information tables.
Perform weekly audit monitoring and logging for T2 using Azure configurations and tools.
Provide weekly ad-hoc reporting and database queries.
Maintain website documents and content displayed on the T2 application websites.
Qualifications
US citizenship required.
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with desired emphasis in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure SQL, SQL Scripts, .Net (VB.Net, ASP.Net)
Active IAT Level II certification (such as Security + CE, CySA+, GSEC, etc.)
Minimum 2 years of experience working in Microsoft Azure environments opening PBIs, sprints, and navigating common tasks.
Ability to work with stored procedures, create customized queries; create algorithms is a plus.
Knowledge of DoD RMF NIST guidance.
Knowledge of secure DoD database practices such as FIPS 140-2 and 8100.02.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Ability to work as a team member and be able to provide individualized contributions.
Desired Qualifications:
Secret security clearance.
Experience with JavaScript and Oracle.
Working knowledge of Enterprise Missions Assurance Support Services (eMASS).
Experience with testing workflows and assisting QA.
Requirements
We are seeking a Database Administrator / Database Engineer with hands-on experience supporting mission-critical government systems in secure environments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SQL Server and Azure SQL, including database setup, migrations, performance support, and lifecycle management.
This role requires someone who is compliance-minded and detail-oriented, with proven experience implementing NIST and STIG controls, supporting ATO assessments, and maintaining audit-ready systems. The candidate should be comfortable conducting vulnerability scans, resolving findings, and supporting forensic and compliance documentation.
Equally important is the ability to work closely with developers, auditors, and stakeholders, manage production data responsibly, support DEV/TEST refreshes, and respond to time-sensitive data requests. Experience maintaining calculation logic, data dictionaries, and technical documentation is highly valued.
