This is a full-time on-site role for a Forest technician based in East Granby, Connecticut, and working in southern New England. The position will be involved in forestry operations, including planning and executing timber sales, forest inventory, and managing forest resources for State, Municipal, and privately owned forest land. The position will collaborate with other environmental professionals on a team to balance the ecological and economic objectives of our clients.
Requirements
Degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or a closely related field. Knowledge and work experience in forest management are a plus.
Understanding of forest ecosystems, including best practices for sustainable management.
Familiarity with wildlife habitats and ecological assessments.
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities for collaboration with our team.
