Description
Seeking a highly motivated student as a nominee for the prestigious PhD Graduate Fellows in Coastal and Environmental Resilience (GECER) fellowship Program at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Fellowship Details:
Annual stipend: $34,000; Fringe benefits: $4,500 (including health insurance); Full tuition & fees: $11,500; Duration: 12 months at 50% FTE. Fellows are eligible for continued funding, contingent on satisfactory progress toward the PhD. Fellow will join the Coastal & Marine System Science PhD Program for Fall 2026.
Applicant Eligibility:
B.Sc. (M.Sc. preferred) in Chemistry, Geosciences, Earth Sciences, or a related field. Experience in laboratory research. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Not already enrolled or committed as a TAMU-CC graduate student. Commitment to full-time study (minimum 9 credits/semester).
Research Focus:
Fellows will investigate sources, impacts, and mitigation strategies for atmospheric pollution in coastal cities, advancing resilience in dynamic coastal systems.
