Living Well Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and family-centered Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing pediatric practice in Moore County, North Carolina. This position may be structured as either 3/4 time or full-time and will include both in-office pediatric care and telemedicine hours.
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality, evidence-informed care to infants, children, adolescents, and their families. Responsibilities will include well-child visits, acute sick visits, follow-up visits, medication checks, preventive care, parent education, and appropriate telemedicine visits. The provider will work collaboratively with the physician, clinical team, and administrative staff to support excellent patient care, efficient patient flow, and a positive experience for families. The provider will do some telemedicine visits from their home.
Living Well Pediatrics uses an integrative medicine model to promote the physical, psychological, environmental, and developmental well-being of children. The ideal candidate will be interested in caring for the whole child and supporting parents as they seek to create healthy homes and healthy foundations for their children. Areas of focus within the practice include preventive pediatrics, child development, nutrition, behavioral health, breastfeeding support, environmental health, and family education.
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner should be comfortable building trusting relationships with families, communicating clearly and respectfully with parents, and helping families make informed decisions about their child’s health. The provider will be expected to document accurately in the electronic medical record, follow evidence-based pediatric guidelines, participate in team communication, and contribute to a cheerful, supportive, mission-driven office culture.
This role is especially well suited for a provider who enjoys pediatric primary care, values prevention and parent education, and is open to learning more about pediatric integrative medicine. Experience in pediatric primary care is preferred, but the most important qualities are clinical competence, warmth, humility, dependability, and a genuine love for caring for children and families.

Requirements
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (MSN/DNP) with a pediatric focus.
Current North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license, or eligibility for North Carolina licensure.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.
Current BLS certification.
Experience in pediatric primary care preferred.
Ability to provide care for infants, children, and adolescents, including well-child visits, sick visits, follow-up visits, and medication checks.
Comfort with telemedicine visits and electronic medical record documentation.
Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to educate parents and caregivers in a respectful, clear, and empowering manner.
Commitment to compassionate, family-centered, evidence-informed pediatric care.
Interest in preventive pediatrics, child development, nutrition, behavioral health, breastfeeding support, environmental health, and/or pediatric integrative medicine.
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative team members.
