We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sustainability Officer, UK wide.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sustainability Officer to join our team at Sedgwick Repair Solutions. This role is pivotal in supporting our carbon reduction initiatives and driving environmental responsibility across Sedgwick UK. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will work within our carbon reduction team to help deliver strategies and actions that demonstrate our commitment to limiting the impact of our business on the environment.
As our Sustainability Officer, you'll be at the heart of Sedgwick's mission to create a greener future. You'll lead initiatives that shape our journey to net carbon zero by 2030, working closely with the Technical Director to turn strategy into action.
From preparing reports for the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) to evaluating innovative emission reduction proposals, your work will make a measurable impact. You'll develop carbon footprint benchmarks, calculate Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and collaborate with contractors to reduce the environmental impact of repairs. Alongside this, you'll ensure compliance with ISO 14001, forecast contractor capacity, and design engaging training that empowers colleagues to champion sustainability.

The skills you will have when you apply:
- Knowledge of carbon accounting and emissions reporting.
- Experience with ISO 14001 and sustainability frameworks.
- Exceptional communicator: Able to deliver outstanding service and liaise confidently with internal stakeholders and contractors.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
