Engineering Interns at MEAU will contribute to a range of technical and project-based initiatives. Our internships offer valuable opportunities to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting, gain exposure to industry practices, and develop core professional competencies under the guidance of experienced engineers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Working with experienced engineers, the Software Design Engineering Intern will support the software engineering lifecycle following the Software Engineering Development Plan, including requirements analysis, code & unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
- Backend development, program C++/C#.
- Participate in product design, development, verification, troubleshooting, and delivery of a system or major subsystems
- Produce the technical user manual
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Rising Junior or Senior, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Electrical Engineering
- C++/C# programming
- Project, experiences, or coursework related to areas such as, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Multi-Threading, Data Structure & Algorithms.
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS
The listed salary range is approximate and reflects the anticipated compensation for this position as determined by salary analysis; both internal and external to MEAU. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills and experience. Compensation may also vary due to market factors. MEAU retains the right to adjust compensation based on business needs.
Expected Pay: $20/hr-$25/hr
