Pay Range
$35,900.00-$49,400.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Technician! In this role, you'll ensure safe, accurate, and efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments while supporting inventory management and compliance standards. You'll also assist with training, problem-solving, and developing SOPs to keep operations running smoothly.
The Tucson facility is a full-service manufacturer, production and job shop machining operation for Johns Manville.
Shift: Monday through Friday: 8am-4pm, eligible for overtime.
Your Day to Day:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes safely; perform pre-use inspections.
- Manage shipping/receiving processes, including LTL freight and special shipments.
- Verify weights, inspect goods, and process damage claims.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and rotate stock.
- Use SAP and other systems for documentation and reporting.
- Support safety protocols (PPE, LOTO, hazardous communication) and environmental waste management.
- Train team members and update SOPs.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 13 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems (SAP, email, reporting tools).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with various equipment and tools.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a warehouse setting, with exposure to moving mechanical parts and potential hazards. Proper PPE and adherence to safety protocols are mandatory.
