Compensation:$75,000 - $95,000 yearly
Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Implements, manages, and maintains all elements of a comprehensive Health and Safety Program
- Continuously improves employee/facility safety and ensures compliance with OSHA/FMCSA/state regulations
- Measures and drives continuous improvement of comprehensive Safety Programs through participation/review of information collected through internal audits and accident/injury/incident investigations
- Manages property damage for each location
- Performs Safety audits on each site quarterly
- Works closely with operations on events and accidents
- MUST TRAVEL
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or GED (accredited). (Preferred not required)
- Experience: Four (4) years of DOT work experience.
Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required
- Must be proficient with MS Office applications with expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SharePoint expertise is also preferred
- Must have excellent organization and both verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to manage conflict as it relates to safety or environmental situations
- Must be willing/able to travel up to all sites in Oklahoma and Arkansas
