| Position Summary | Portland State University's Department of History invites applicants with expertise and experience to teach undergraduate courses in history. Preference in, though not limited to, core areas of American history. |
| Minimum Qualifications | M.A. in History. Successful completion of a background check. |
| Preferred Qualifications | Ph.D. in History. Previous teaching experience at a community college or university. |

| Compensation | Adjunct faculty are paid per credit hour, per the AFT Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary may be adjusted above the minimum rates based on qualifications and experience. |
