Bilingual Contracts Manager
As a bilingual Contracts Manager, you will provide legal and business expertise in the evaluation, development and negotiation of commercial transactions, contracts, proposals, and quotes while ensuring compliance with current policies and procedures and minimizing contractual risk.
Your role:
- Work with a team of Contracts Managers and interface with Legal, Risk, Finance, Sales and Global businesses Services team as well as other internal Philips' customers and negotiate directly with external customers to create contract solutions that minimize risk and provide value to Philips and customers.
- Partner with field personnel and internal departments to evaluate and negotiate contracts for sales/service (i.e. capital, consumables, Software as Service (SaaS), service, consulting, etc.) as well as other related documents. Also, provide dupport to the customer fulfillment and proposal team for RFPs, RFIs and RFQs.
- Recommend and implement improvements of policies and processes to ensure proposals and contractual documents align with the company's business controls, policies and procedures. Additionally, maintain contract files and update contract activity in Salesforce (SFDC) and other workflow tools. Advise field teams and management of contractual rights, obligations, and provide interpretation of terms and conditions identifying solutions.
You're the right fit if:
- You have acquired 5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
- You have a Bachelor's degree (required), Paralegal, Certified Contract Management (CCM) or other contract management certification.
- Your skills include MS Office; with the ability to learn and adapt to other programs such as SFDC, contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) TOOLS and Lean methodology. Project Management as well as solid negotiation skills required.
- You are fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position .
- You are an excellent communicator at many levels with strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills. You are also a well-organized multi-tasker, skilled at working in a fast paced, high-energy deadline-driven environment, establishing priorities, gaining cooperation through persuasion to find solutions, and building consensus across functional areas, while managing various projects and setting priorities to achieve outcomes.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
This role is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $ 73,500 to $115,500 CAD . The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, DC Pension, Flex Dollars (for HSA/PSA/RRSP), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Canadian work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Mississauga.
