OverviewWHO WE ARE
Dormie Network is a national network of private destination golf clubs, delivering an unparalleled experience through pristine course conditions, world-class hospitality, and exceptional service. At the heart of that experience is our people. As the Assistant Golf Professional, you will work closely with the Head Golf Professional to monitor and oversee the entire golf operation at the club.
Experience Required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in golf focused service position preferred.
- Active enrollment in the PGA Apprenticeship Program minumum, Class A Professional preferred.
- Experience with GolfGenius and tournaments preferred.
Essential Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Golf Ops team, your essential functions and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Check in members and guests and assign golf carts. Maintains logs.
- Assist with all facets of Merchandise Operations - member and guest sales, display organization, inventory when requested, etc.
- Cash out members and guests and maintain/monitor the front counter.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop and storage areas.
- Handle requests of members in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist Head Pro and General Manager with facilitating Tournament Operations.
- Assist with managing daily operations of the Club/Outside Service Team.
- Maintains club personal appearance standards. Wears assigned uniforms.
- Assists other areas of the club as needed.
- Perform private lessons and clinics when requested.
- Adheres to all Dormie Network's policies, procedures and service standards.
- Work collaboratively with all employees to support an efficient and positive team environment.
- Consistently greet members, guests, and fellow employees with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a willingness to help.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily operation of department in the absence of the Head Pro.
- May assist with training new staff, scheduling, time sheet review and attendance tracking.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, twist, and turn.
- Must be able to visually inspect merchandise items and member clubs for cleanliness.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Able to communicate with others.
