Position Overview:

The Assistant Golf Professional will support the Head Golf Professional with all activities related to the operation of the Club's Golf Program.

This role is open to Seasonal and Year-Round candidates based on qualifications and winter employment opportunities.

Experience Required

• Active PGA Member or Associate (Level 1+) with a commitment to professional growth.
• Experience in private golf operations and member services.
• Proficiency in Golf Genius, POS systems, and tournament management.
• Experience in delivering private lessons and junior golf programs

Essential Responsibilities

Job Tasks

Assists Head Golf Professional with merchandising responsibilities.

Maintains pro shop inventory control system.

Assists members by providing and interpreting golf policies, rules and regulations.

Conducts golf camps and clinics.

Manages USGA handicap system for members.

Assists in managing Golf Shop in absence of Head Golf Professional.

Manages the daily opening and closing of golf operations.

Assists in the coordination and running of tournaments and special events.

Coordinates Junior Golf activities.

Provides golf instruction.

Performs starter or marshal duties as needed.

Ensures course is properly marked.

Attends staff meetings.

Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Head Golf Professional.
