SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Administrative Assistant.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provideprogram support at our Norfolk, VA location. The Administrative Assistant will provideprincipal administrative support in the office, to the manager, and, in somecases, also to the subordinate staff of the manager. They will maintain a closeand highly responsive relationship with the day-to-day activities of theoffice. The successful candidate must be motivated with strong communicationand organizational skills as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Performs varied clerical and administrative duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the office.
- Developing and maintaining program schedules.
- Developing and maintaining action items.
- Developing and distributing presentation material.
- Coordinating meetings, interviews and large technical exchanges.
- Editing documentation and ad hoc tasking as required.
- Coordinate employee events at the Norfolk office.
- Assist with HR and IT related tasking as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma/GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years' experience required.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship
Location: Manassas, VA
Travel: Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
Clearance: Secret
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
